The sample Visual VB.NET extension DLL can be found in the examples\vbnet subdirectory. It is available as a Visual VB.NET Express 2005 project, and serves as reference material for users who wish to write their own extension DLL using VB.NET. Note that .NET Framework V3.0 is required.
To build the extension DLL, launch softcopyex.vbproj and build the project. The final output is a .NET assembly called softcopyex.dll located in the same folder.
Launch the GUI configuration tool. Select ".NET Assembly" as the DLL type, and enter "Softcopy.VbExtension" as the class name.
Then click the "Register" button and select softcopyex.dll in the output folder. You should get a message telling you that the .NET assembly has been successfully registered. Finally, click the "Update" button to complete the installation.
