Running multiple instances of KeyPass

Starting from V4.1.0, you can run multiple instances of KeyPass on the same machine, as long as they are located in different folders. This is useful if you must have separate databases for different purposes eg. personal and work.

When running multiple instances of KeyPass, it will be helpful to change the default title string under General Preferences to distinguish between these instances. This is the text string that will be displayed in both the title bar and the system tray of that instance.

If you are running multiple instances of KeyPass, please ensure that all instances are V4.1.0 and above. It is also very important to assign different hot keys to different instances. If two instances are assigned the same hot key, the result is unpredictable.
